About

The purpose of CPSA is to promote professional development and to enhance the educational process of graduate students enrolled in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of Georgia. CPSA is to serve as a liaison between students and faculty members in order to ensure that the needs and concerns of the students within our department are adequately addressed in accordance with the guidelines established by APA. These goals are to be accomplished through the use of workshops, training programs and opportunities within the community that are related to the principles of counseling psychology. Additionally, current graduate students within the program are encouraged to form professional relationships with incoming students by serving as mentors to students outside of their cohort.
